The Plight of David McIntyre

April 29, 2013

DaveThis is the story of David McIntyre. Like Babar Ahmad and Talha Ahsan before him is under threat of extradition to the USA. He is a former soldier in the British army and was stationed in Afghanistan. He is accused by a former colleague at a security firm he used to run convicted in the US of trying to fraudulently gain $100,000 whilst contracted to provide security services to a US NGO. David denies these allegations.

In addition he suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) due to trauma he faced while in service. This was not discovered until the extradition order had been signed. Surely a man that has served and protected his country should be afforded the opportunity to be tried here.

You can help the campaign by firstly signing this petition http://www.change.org/savedave and encouraging everyone your know on Facebook and Twitter to sign as well.

In addition follow Dave on Twitter and support him by retweeting him https://twitter.com/Davemac1134
